Another useful tip in preparation for the race is that Roman Consul Stakes winners rarely salute at double-figures so backing the favourite and those under the $10 mark for the win is also a nice betting tip.
2021 Roman Consul Stakes Tips
Our Ladbrokes’ insider Roman Consul Stakes 2021 betting tips and Group 2 race selections will be detailed below a few days out from the race so stay tuned for the young sprinters to tip in the Coolmore Stud Stakes lead-up this spring.
- To Win: #2 Paulele ($2.25 at time of publish)
Sticking with the Godolphin-raced favourite Paulele who won the Listed Rosebud first-up before two close seconds leading-up to this lucrative Group 2 sprint. Narrowly denied second-up as the beaten favourite in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes behind In The Congo who went on to frank the form taking out the Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes. Last start was in the Listed Heritage Stakes over 1100m. Will be better over the six furlongs, is rock hard fit and a smaller field here.
