One Ladbrokes punter hit a home run with this all-time Legendary Land from the MLB this week. As if picking baseball games head to head was not tough enough our punter hit all six legs to turn their $50 outlay into a massive return of $92,238.03. To get that remarkable return, our punter went for a double play of the margin and total runs on half of the six legs.
The first play of the mutli backed the Philadelphia Phillies to win a high scoring contest against the Miami Marlins. With seven runs scored in the first one and a half innings the play looked like a good one and by the top of the fourth inning, the over cleared thanks to Asdrubal Cabrera hitting his second scoring shot of the game to open up a 7-1 lead. From there all that remained was whether or not the Phillies would hold their lead and cover the -1.5 handicap. Some quality late inning pitching took care of business and the first leg got up.
Leg number two featured a reverse of the first one with Cleveland opening up a 6-0 lead after the first two innings. Their lead throughout the remainder of the game never got below five runs with the only question being whether or not the over 8.5 total would hit. There was not much of a wait as the bottom of the fifth brought on the ninth run of the match making the second leg a winner.
The next two legs were handicap bets with our punter backing Tampa Bay to have a big win over the sinking Blue Jays and the St Louis Cardinals keeping their NL Wild Card hopes alive against the Washington Nationals. In Toronto the travel did not phase Tampa one bit as they won a low-scoring duel thanks to a shutout from their pitching staff winning the game 4-0.
St Louis got off to a great start in their game, backed in -1.5 over Washington and a 4-0 lead after the second inning had them in a great spot. The Nats responded however with four of their own in the bottom of the fifth to level things up. In the sixth inning the Cardinals put up another three runs to the Nationals one giving them a two run buffer through to the ninth. Their lineup exploded for four more runs however our punter was made to sweat it out when the Nationals hit three more in the ninth before St Louis closed it out with a final score of 11-8.
For a while in the Cincinnati-Pittsburgh game, it looked like the Pirates would have to reach the 8.5 run total on their own putting up six in the first four innings and holding the Reds scoreless for the first six innings. Cincinnati finally pitched in with two runs in the seventh inning before both sides scored one more in the eighth to wrap up a 7-3 Pittsburgh decision.
To close out the multi our punter backed the Boston Red Sox, who have the most wins in MLB this season (97) and the second best run differential (+223) to win by two or more against the Atlanta Braves. For the first four innings those records did not count for much as the Braves shut out the Red Sox and took a 1-0 lead. In the fifth inning the game swung back towards Boston as they put up three runs and then two more in the sixth to take a lead they would not relinquish and seal our punter’s grand slam of a Legendary Land.
