No. 2 Left A Terror to win

Left A Terror is having his first crack at Veterans grade today and he is sure to relish the drop in grade compared to what he has been contesting of late.

Numerically his form doesn’t read all that great, but he hasn’t had much luck at his past few outings, and he looks a big improver today from the nice draw.

He may have a look for the lead off Stompem, but will more than likely jump down behind and get his chance via the passing lane in the stretch.

No. 5 Wisper A Secret to win

Wisper A Secret resumes off a four-month break today off the back of a nice trial on this circuit last week where he finished a nose behind the winner in fast final fractions without really being extended.

This won’t be a pushover for him from the wide gate with some pace and quality to his inside, but one out he is the best horse, or the one with the most potential in the race and his class might just see him home first up.

Albion Park - Race 9 5:27pm AEST
No. 6 El Aguila to win

El Aguila has made a triumphant return to QLD with two thumping victories on this circuit in this grade the past few weeks, firstly over the 1660m and then last time out over the 2138m, where he was most impressive in fast time.

This will be his toughest test to date this campaign, as he has the wide draw and some pace to his inside to overcome, mostly from Aphorism, who gets his best chance to resurrect some form.

The start will be key to his chances and if he doesn’t speed to the lead then he may be vulnerable, but the way he is going at present he should take beating no matter where he ends up.
