Metro racing returns to Rosehill this Saturday afternoon with 10 races on the program.
Our full Rose Gardens – Saturday, 1st July Preview can be found below.
Plundering has placed in all four starts this prep and all but one from seven career starts.
Settled fifth at this track and distance two weeks ago and had to come across heels in the straight to just miss.
He’ll appreciate the step back in grade for this event and he should get a nice run in transit from barrier five.

I have a bit of time for the three-year-old filly Semana who has been working through the grades well.
She was narrowly denied last time out at this track and distance and although this is a tougher grade, the apprentice will use his claim for some weight relief.

Five of the runners in this race are dual acceptors so without knowing the final field at this stage in the week I’m happy to stay out from a betting perspective.

Allasandra has won her last three on the trot by a combined 3.4 lengths.
The daughter of Pride Of Dubai will be required to carry just 53kg and I can’t see why she can’t continue to build a nice picket fence.

Mogo Magic is a progressive type of horse who is unbeaten in three starts.
The three-year-old gelding was last seen in February winning a Highway race by over two lengths and this doesn’t look much harder.

Tintookie is building a nice racing resume to start out her racing career having missed a place just once in seven starts.
She was beaten less than a length first up at this track and distance and will only improve on that effort.
Looks well placed again.

I thought the run of the import Mostly Cloudy at Mornington when finishing third was full of merit.
It was just his second Australian start and he made up plenty of ground to be beaten only a length.
He gets out to a much more suitable distance now and represents really good each way value.

Kibou is a talented young horse who has won three times in just six career starts.
This includes a win in the Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes here at Rosehill to close out his last campaign.
Was beaten by the barest of margins first up and will only improve on that effort second up.

Brayden Star has been racing consistently so far this prep and has been placed in all three starts.
This includes a win at Ladbrokes Park two back over 1600m and a second last start at headquarters.
He’s being asked to carry the top weight but the apprentice will claim.

Windshadow closed out his last campaign by winning his maiden by 1.5 lengths at Canterbury.
He was beaten a length when resuming at Kembla Grange for securing his second win in seven career starts at Wyong.
This is another step up in class but he represents good each way price at his current price.
