Warwick Farm will play host to a seven race program this Wednesday.
The rail will be out 3m for the entire circuit and the track is currently rated a good 4.
We’ve had a close look at all seven races on the card and our thoughts can be found below.
Private Life resumes.
The Written Tycoon colt has just had the two starts and showed good improvement to salute at his second raceday appearance.
Making his debut over 1100m at Canterbury he settled in the second half off the field and finished off strongly over the final part.
He then headed to Warwick Farm where he showed good early speed to take up the position in the box seat and was able to bullock his way into the clear to pull away and score comfortably.
Given two recent trials he looks to have returned in top order and with the advantage of the inside draw he’s set to receive all the favours under Nash Rawiller.
1 unit – PRIVATE LIFE
Monte Veebee had no luck at all when resuming here over 1100m a fortnight ago.
The son of Snitzel settled in behind speed and never saw clear running until he final 50m when it was all over.
He showed good natural talent at his first two outings, finishing the runner up on both occasions and he’s sure to improve as he steps out over further.
The 1400m here looks ideal and Adam Hyeronimus retains the mount.
1 unit – MONTE VEEBEE
It’s been a while between drinks for The Replicant but the Joe Pride trained gelding continues to perform well.
Placed in four of his five starts this campaign, he was only narrowly beaten here three runs back and just failed to let down in the heavy going at his following start.
Back in trip last time around Canterbury, he just held his ground to the line but he’ll appreciate getting back to his home track.
He’s drawn to get the right run and gets his chance to get another win on the board.
1 unit – THE REPLICANT
Wagga Wagga comes off an eye catching performance over 2100m on the Sandown Lakeside and looks ready to peak at his third run back.
The UK import was a touch plain when resuming over the mile but relished the rise in distance last time, letting down strongly from the back to narrowly miss.
A winner at his only third up appearance, he’ll appreciate getting out over that bit further and whilst he does rise slightly in grade, he drops 3kgs.
From the inside draw he’s set to enjoy a cosy run under Dylan Gibbons, who will do the steering for Ciaron Maher.
1 unit – WAGGA WAGGA
Bonita Queen is building a very tidy record and comes off a dominant last start win over this track and trip.
The daughter of I Am Invincible just felt the pinch late when resuming with 60kgs at Canterbury but with the added fitness and weight relief, she proved far too good here second up.
She stays at that same grade and will only carry an extra kilogram.
In a race that looks to have very little speed on paper, she should be able to dictate out in front and prove hard to catch.
1 unit – BONITA QUEEN
Influential has been the runner up in two runs back from a break and was unlucky not to have won last start.
Held up approaching the turn he took a while to regain his momentum but hit the line strongly to just go down narrowly.
The Chris Waller trained four year old strips fitter for those runs and meets a similar field.
With Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle he’ll be afforded every chance from the low draw.
1 unit – INFLUENTIAL
A winner of two of her three starts, Pippie Beach looks a smart mare on the rise.
She was strong through the line over 1200m on debut and with that run under her belt, she proved far too good at her following outing.
From a maiden straight to a BM72, she took it all in her stride and was dominant when saluting over this course and distance.
Given two trials in preparation for her return the daughter of Maurice hasn’t been asked to do a lot and looks well placed kicking off over 1300m.
Lee Magorrian knows her well having partnered her at her first two outings and he goes back aboard for Chris Waller.
