With the inside draw he looked to hesitate slightly at box rise but railed hard get within a length of the eventful winner.
He’ll be better for the experience and looks the one to beat.

Solo Fernando comes off a brilliant win over this course and distance, where he clocked a new P.B. of 22.01.
It was win number five from just his sixth go at the 388m here and the son of Fernando Bale looks well placed to add to that tally.

Got Merit is ever consistent and she won well here two starts back.
The daughter of Feral Franky then headed to Maitland where she turned out a solid effort to finish a close third.
She’s yet to miss the frame in four runs here and if she can produce here best, she’ll be very hard to beat.

Bring On Bling is building an enviable record, with three wins and a second placing from her four race starts.
Her only defeat came at her second raceday appearance, where she still put a big margin back to third and her two recent wins have been in dominant fashion.
The Aston Rupee youngster looks to have a bright future ahead and she’s one from one off box six.
