Seven of the best will be run and won at Warwick Farm in Sydney’s west this Wednesday, June 3rd.
The inclement weather has continued in patches throughout the week and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Heavy (8) range, while the rail will be set out three metres around the entire course.
I’ve run the rule over each race and you can find my Warwick Farm best bets below.
There isn’t a lot of exposed for to study ahead of the first at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, but the debutant Kinetic Kiss does look to have good ability and can kick off her career in style.
The Ole Kirk filly has trialled up well, winning an 800m hit out at Gosford last month.
Tim Clark rides from an ideal barrier.

Our Huntress is second up and primed to strike at Warwick Farm,
The Ardrossan filly is a five-start maiden, but she’s finished the runner up on four occasions, including behind Dirty Summer at Hawkesbury when resuming last month.
With natural improvement this week, I’m confident she can begin her journey through the grades.

Samaka has improved for two competitive starts since debuting and looks ready to break his maiden.
The Zoustar gelding worked home well to finish second, beaten less than a length over 1300m at Canberra at his first start and was only denied half a length by Chatterley.
He’s been kept up to the mark with a nice trial since that race and with luck in the run this week, he can fight out the finish again.
| 6. Samaka (5) J: Tim Clark 58.5kg 23T: Peter Snowden |
Hovland is another one that steps out this week in peak order.
Hovland was eye-catching into second behind the in-form Superfabulitsic in a similar race at Warwick Farm first up last month and placed behind that same horse second up.
Fitter third-up this week, sticking at the mile, he looks well placed to return to winning form.

Hello Captain is yet to turn in a poor performance, and I am eager to stick with him at Warwick Farm this week.
The Hello Youmzain gelding has only made three appearances so far, but after finishing second behind an impressive Dominant Darcy at Doomben in December, he’s since unbeaten, including an eye-catching fresh performance here a fortnight ago.
This is a strong race, but the horse has plenty of upside and looks up to Saturday metro grade.

Black Babylon is third up into a winnable race at Warwick Farm.
He clearly needed his first run back this time to tune up when ninth in BM78 company at Randwick, but Black Babylon was only denied by an impressive So Suave getting back into midweek company last time out.
Fitter third-up, he’s raced well on the heavy going previously and can certainly go one better in a race of this quality.
| 3. Black Babylon (5) J: Tom Sherry 60kg 15×92T: Annabel & Rob Archibald |
Twisted Queen is in winning form and should only improve into the last at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The Joe Pride-trained mare turned in some fine performances for the Lindsay Park team last time in, winning in BM62 company at Pakenham most notably, while she completed an ideal debut for her new stable when saluting at Newcastle last month.
She’s a winner at this point of her preparation previously, has relished racing on a rain-affected track, and the $9 about her at publish is a touch of overs in my opinion.
