With natural improvement today, he can break his maiden and begin his journey through the grades.

Artgirl gets a nice chance to win today at Newcastle.
The Chris Waller-trained filly has been knocking on the door since resuming, placing in four of five runs back from a break, including a near miss on a rain-affected track here last time out.
In peak order today, she looks well placed to go one better.

Sphere resumes in a winnable race at Newcastle this afternoon.
The Bivouac filly hasn’t been seen at the races since March, but she was a model of consistency last time in, placing multiple times in metro company.
Having had the benefit of a couple of recent trials, this looks an ideal campaign launchpad.

There’s a case to be made for a few of them in the last at Newcastle today, and Prince Charge is one that represents value in my opinion ($10 at publish).
Prince Charge broke his maiden during a small two-start preparation earlier this year, and he returned to action with a far effort to finish midfield behind Attractiveness here at Newcastle.
With natural improvement and some relief today with Siena Grima’s claim, I’m confident he can be in the finish.
