vs
Elena Rybakina
$1.72
U.S. Open – Women's Singles odds correct as of 07/09/2026 and subject to change.
NAOMI OSAKA VS ELENA RYBAKINA
BACK OVER 22.5 TOTAL GAMES @ $1.80

The US Open women’s draw cranks up a notch with a blockbuster Round of 16 encounter between second seed Elena Rybakina and two-time champion Naomi Osaka.

The superstar duo only met for the first time at last month’s Canadian Masters, with Rybakina prevailing 4-6 7-6 6-4 in a marathon quarterfinal.

Thirteenth seed Osaka subsequently skipped the Cincinnati Masters and has battled her way through three tight matches so far – beating Anastasia Zakharova 7-6 7-6, Katerina Siniakova 6-2 5-7 6-1 and 23rd seed Elise Mertens 6-3 3-6 7-5.

Rybakina went on to win the Canadian Masters before retiring during the Cincinnati Masters quarters. The world No.2 has disposed of Thea Frodin (6-3 6-2), Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (6-2 6-4) and Yuliia Starodubtseva (7-6 6-3) in New York.

A slight outsider at $2.10, Osaka can take some confidence from the tight nature of her recent encounter with Rybakina and getting past some quality opponents over the past week.

Rybakina could easily be a shorter favourite but his shapes as another tight contest between two powerful players boasting similar strengths.

Prediction: BACK OVER 22.5 TOTAL GAMES @ $1.80

U.S. Open – Women's Singles

Tuesday 8th Sep

Iva Jovic
$3.05
vs
Coco Gauff
$1.38
U.S. Open – Women's Singles odds correct as of 07/09/2026 and subject to change.
IVA JOVIC VS COCO GAUFF
BACK GAUFF TO WIN 2-0 @ $1.90

It’s an all-American affair in the US Open’s Round of 16 as teenaged phenom Iva Jovic taking on 2023 champion Coco Gauff.

Gauff rallied to take out their maiden clash at the Madrid Masters in May, 5-7 7-5 6-2.

An Australian Open quarterfinalist this year, 14th seed Jovic’s excellent grand slam record has continued in just her ninth major with straight-sets wins over Magdalena Frech and Francesca Jones, and a 7-5 3-6 7-5 defeat of 17th seed Alex Eala.

Fourth seed Gauff arrived in New York on fire, having reached the Canadian Masters semis and winning the Cincinnati Masters title. She is yet to drop a set here in eliminating Zenyep Sonmez, Paula Badosa and Cristina Bucsa.

This is Gauff’s toughest match-up so far, but after dropping only three sets (two of them to Elena Rybakina in a three-set semifinal loss in Montreal) in 13 matches on this North American swing, she looks well-placed to halt 18-year-old Jovic’s impressive run.

Prediction: BACK GAUFF TO WIN 2-0 @ $1.90

U.S. Open – Men's Singles

Tuesday 8th Sep

Francisco Cerundolo
$2.30
vs
Alexander Blockx
$1.62
U.S. Open – Men's Singles odds correct as of 07/09/2026 and subject to change.
FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO VS ALEXANDER BLOCKX
BACK CERUNDOLO TO COVER THE GAMES HANDICAP (+3.5) @ $1.75

Top-30 seeds Francisco Cerundolo and Alexander Blockx are both vying for their first grand slam quarterfinal berth in this US Open showdown.

Blockx beat Cerundolo 7-6 6-2 in their sole meeting to date at the Madrid Masters earlier this year.

The 21-year-old Belgian – who made the Madrid Masters semis earlier this year – had only played four grand slam matches before last week.

But a breakout season has continued with early wins over Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera and Marco Trungelliti, and a 6-7 6-3 6-0 6-3 boilover against fifth seed and French Open runner-up Flavio Cobolli.

Cerundolo has been to the Round of 16 at the Australian and French Opens previously. After a straight-sets win over Filip Misolic in the first round, the Argentine has come from behind in consecutive five-setters against Jan-Lennard Struff and ninth seed Taylor Fritz.

The 28-year-old was two sets down against Fritz but rallied to produce one of the best wins of his career. It’s a victory that renders Cerundolo a highly tempting $2.30 outsider at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Prediction: BACK CERUNDOLO TO COVER THE GAMES HANDICAP (+3.5) @ $1.75

U.S. Open – Men's Singles

Tuesday 8th Sep

Karen Khachanov
$2.45
vs
Learner Tien
$1.55
U.S. Open – Men's Singles odds correct as of 07/09/2026 and subject to change.
KAREN KHACHANOV VS LEARNER TIEN
BACK TIEN TO COVER THE GAMES HANDICAP (-3.5) @ $1.92

Twenty-year-old American Learner Tien will be looking to ride the partisan crowd support to a maiden US Open quarterfinal spot when he takes on veteran Karen Khachanov.

Fourteenth seed Tien, who made the Australian Open quarters earlier this year and reached the recent Canadian Masters semis, put away Nuno Borges and Gael Monfils in straight sets before prevailing in a five-set classic against 17th seed Jakub Mensik in the third round.

Slipping to No.50 in the rankings, 2022 semifinalist Khachanov is enjoying a mini-renaissance in New York – thrashing Roman Andres Burruchaga and Benjamin Bonzi in straight sets, either side of a 6-7 6-3 6-2 6-2 upset of third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Khachanov’s trademark serving power has been a feature thus far, but Tien’s counterpunching and elite defence present a different challenge and he’s the player to back in this intriguing clash.

Prediction: BACK TIEN TO COVER THE GAMES HANDICAP (-3.5) @ $1.92
