The Gimcrack Stakes is a Group 3 race for two-year-old fillies run and won at Randwick Racecourse in early October.
The event takes place as part of Randwick’s bumper Epsom Handicap Day race card. Epsom Day features a double shot of Group 1 racing with the running of the $1.5 million Epsom Handicap (1600m) and the $750,000 Flight Stakes (1600m), while the $750,000 The Metropolitan (2400m) was downgraded from a Group 1 to a Group 2 in 2026.
