As we push deeper into the 2025 AFL season, Round 15 brought some major upsets and breakout performances.
With the Brownlow race starting to take real shape, a couple of fresh faces staked their claim, while the usual suspects kept piling on the votes.
Fremantle vs Essendon
Luke Jackson showed why the solo ruck role suits him perfectly, dominating a debutant opponent with 10 clearances, 15 contested possessions, and three goals in a commanding performance.
Caleb Serong continues his charge, moving to number one on our leaderboard with another two votes after finishing with 35 disposals and two goals of his own.

Geelong vs Brisbane
Logan Morris has well and truly found his stride, booting five goals at GMHBA in a huge upset for the Lions.
His forward craft and presence in the air made him the standout, locking in the maximum three votes.

Carlton vs North Melbourne
Tom Powell delivered a genuine breakout game in a shock win, racking up 34 disposals and eight clearances.
Luke Davies-Uniacke was right alongside him, dominating the contest with 16 contested possessions from his 30-disposal performance.

Port Adelaide vs Sydney
The Swans’ stars fired when it mattered most. Isaac Heeney continued his brilliant 2025 form with 28 disposals and two goals to claim the three votes.
Brodie Grundy controlled the ruck battle to earn 2 votes, while the Swans skipper found form again to sneak in for the single vote.

Collingwood vs St Kilda
Even with Marcus Windhager giving him close attention, Nick Daicos still fought his way to 30 disposals and a goal to secure top votes.
Darcy Cameron was influential all over the ground, taking intercept marks in defence and finishing with a couple of goals at the other end.

GWS vs Gold Coast
In one of the closest Expansion Cup clashes yet, Tom Green led the way for the Giants.
His 31 disposals, 16 clearances, 22 contested possessions, and a goal put him comfortably at the front of the queue for three votes.

Western Bulldogs vs Richmond
Sunday afternoon turned into a clinic for Marcus Bontempelli.
The Dogs skipper was back to his dominant best with 36 disposals and three goals, a no-brainer for the three votes.

For the second week in a row, Caleb Serong is our best play for the Brownlow.
Now the outright leader on 20 votes, his two closest challengers are both set for a bye this week, giving him a golden chance to break away even further.
