England vs DR Congo Predictions – Round Of 32 (Match 7)

The Three Lions head into the knockout phase as heavy favourites after pulling apart Panama 2-0 to secure top spot in Group L. 

There are some minor concerns down back with Jarell Quansah picking up a knock last week, but all in all, England should be incredibly hard to beat with Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham roaring with goal-scoring confidence.  

DR Congo have a clean bill of health themselves, which should come in handy as they look to once again lock down defensively and afford England the bulk share of possession. 

The knockout stage is completely new territory for the Leopards and they have shown enough tactical flexibility to trouble another heavyweight side. A win looks unlikely, but England will need to capitalise on its chances and rely on their class in what figures to be a low-scoring game.
