It’s an early start for us Aussie UFC fans this Sunday as the best sport in the world comes to us live from Saudi Arabia in the early part of the morning.
Former UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya headlines a stacked card as he looks to navigate his way back to a title fight by taking on Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov.
Rising sensation Shara Magomedov faces his toughest challenge yet when he takes on the awkward and entertaining style of Michael Venom Page in the co main event.
There are a bunch of solid fights that would rival any pay-per-view card and we have found some value in our below betting plays.
Israel Adesanya vs Nassourdine Imavov
For the first time since February 2019 Israel Adesanya will not fight for UFC gold with his 12 prior fights being for a title.
He comes into this fight on the first losing streak of his professional MMA career with losses to Sean Strickland and now champion Dricus Du Plessis.
The Nigerian born former Middleweight champion remains the only person to defeat Light Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and something tells me he isn’t done fighting for titles even at 35 years of age.
His opponent is Nassourdine Imavov who is currently ranked number five in the division and brings a three fight win streak into the toughest challenge of his career.
And the resume is solid with wins over Roman Dolidze, Jared Cannonier and Brendan Allen putting him in a position of the number one contender fight.
He has four wins by submission which means he may attempt to get this fight to the canvas which is a feat easier said than done against Adesanya.
The former champ is one of the best strikers the UFC has ever seen and couple that with his experience and he can get the job done.

Shara Magomedov vs Michael Venom Page
There may not be a more exciting prospect in the entire UFC than Shara Magomedov who is yet taste defeat in his pro MMA career.
Four of his 15 career wins have been inside the UFC octagon and 12 of those wins have been by knockout.
Unable to enter the USA because of visa restrictions, he has been restricted to fighting in the Middle East during his UFC career and unlike many Dagestani fighters in the past, his striking is his main weapon.
MVP has been an excitement machine throughout his entire MMA career including a long and successful Bellator stint and he hasn’t taken the foot off the pedal since arriving in the biggest promotion in the sport.
He put on a clinic when defeating Kevin Holland on debut in the UFC and lost a close decision against Ian Garry in June of 2024.
Both men are extremely dangerous and can finish the fight with one strike so the odds we are getting for the judges not to be needed appeals.

Sergei Pavlovich vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Sergei Pavlovich earned a title shot off the back of six wins in a row all of which came via knock out in the first round.
He lost the title fight against Tom Aspinall and then went on to lose his next fight against Alexander Volkov via decision here in Saudi Arabia in June of 2024.
It has been an inconsistent UFC career for Jairzinho Rozenstruik but he has fought many of the best Heavyweights in the sport including Ciryl Gane, Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes.
Back to back wins over Shamil Gaziev and Tai Tuivasa has him back on track and he gets the opportunity to climb back up the rankings with a win over a very good opponent.
These are two heavy hitting men to say the least and I don’t think it lasts long.
